Sheffield Wednesday have been dealing with a handful of defensive injuries as a tough test against Huddersfield Town awaits.

Sheffield Wednesday manager Henrik Pedersen has provided an injury update ahead of their League One clash against Huddersfield Town. Summer signing Ricardo Santos faces a late assessment due to a minor groin issue, while defenders Max Lowe and Sil Swinkels remain sidelined for the upcoming match but are scheduled to return to full training next week.
Pedersen confirmed that Di'Shon Bernard will be available on Saturday after being rested for load management during the EFL Trophy win against Sunderland's U21s. With several defenders returning to fitness soon, Gabriel Otegbayo and Liam Cooper are expected to start at centre-back against Huddersfield.
