The Winnipeg Jets sure looked like a team that was running on fumes Friday night.

The Winnipeg Jets suffered their first regulation defeat of the season on Friday night, falling 5-1 to the Anaheim Ducks at Canada Life Centre. Playing their fifth game in eight days, the Jets struggled with fatigue and execution, managing just 16 shots while going 0-for-4 on the power play.
Anaheim took control through unexpected offensive contributors, as fourth-liners Judd Caulfield and Tim Washe each tallied a goal and an assist alongside two helpers from Jeff Malott. Sam Colangelo, Mikael Granlund, and Nikita Nesterenko also scored for the Ducks, while Kyle Connor netted Winnipeg's lone goal on a third-period breakaway.
