Chelsea return to Premier League action this weekend when they host Bournemouth at Stamford Bridge

Six players are confirmed to miss Chelsea's clash against Bournemouth, including Chelsea winger Jamie Gittens and five Bournemouth players. Chelsea manager Xabi Alonso confirmed Gittens suffered an ankle injury with England Under-21s and will be sidelined for a few weeks. However, Alonso received a major fitness boost with Cole Palmer, Reece James, Joao Pedro, Moises Caicedo, and Marco Palestra all available for selection.
Bournemouth manager Marco Rose faces severe injury concerns ahead of the trip to Stamford Bridge. Alex Scott is sidelined for approximately eight weeks due to an international duty injury, while Junior Eli Kroupi, Julian Araujo, Justin Kluivert, Veljko Milosavljevic, and Amine Adli are all officially ruled out of the fixture.
