The New York Jets need to whip their rushing attack back into shape if they want to take advantage of a weak Cleveland Browns run defense.

The New York Jets host the Cleveland Browns in Week 5 at MetLife Stadium, matching New York's struggling running game against Cleveland's vulnerable run defense. Charlie Baduini writes that the 1-3 Jets, led by head coach Aaron Glenn, have lost three consecutive games, while Todd Monken's Browns lead the AFC North following three straight wins.
Baduini notes the Browns rank 24th in run defense, allowing 113.3 rushing yards per game. Meanwhile, the Jets rank 27th in rushing yards per game and will be without Breece Hall and Dylan Parham on Sunday, leaving running back Braelon Allen to lead their ground attack.
