Gabriel in Man Utd team photo but no hint of reconciliation

Manchester United prospect JJ Gabriel shows no signs of reconciling with the club despite being included in their official season team photo. The 16-year-old forward informed United of his intention to leave on September 10, 2026, and subsequently left the country to train in Spain. The rift was reportedly triggered after manager Michael Carrick left him out of the Champions League squad against Sabah FK.

United still hold Gabriel's registration and have attempted to repair the relationship, though European giants Real Madrid and Barcelona are tracking the teenager. The London-born attacker, whose legal name is Joseph Junior Andreou O'Cearuill, holds an EU passport, which could facilitate a permanent transfer abroad.
