Manchester United's famous ticker banner returned to Old Trafford on Saturday, displaying 50 years since Manchester City won a trophy.

Manchester United supporters displayed a new version of their famous ticker banner at Old Trafford on Saturday, mocking rivals Manchester City. The updated banner reads 50 years, referencing the time elapsed since City's 1976 League Cup triumph and disregarding all silverware won following the club's 2008 takeover.
The demonstration occurred during United's match against Tottenham, following an independent commission ruling that found City guilty of serious Premier League financial rule breaches. Manchester City have denied wrongdoing and lodged an appeal, while manager Enzo Maresca insisted the club will overturn the verdict.
