Viktor Gyokeres scored 21 goals in all competitions during his first campaign at Arsenal, but he has only made three Premier League appearances so far this season

Former Arsenal striker Alan Smith believes Viktor Gyokeres will be sold in the January transfer window if the Gunners secure a replacement forward. Gyokeres, who joined Arsenal from Sporting CP in a £63.5m permanent deal and scored 21 goals last season, has seen limited playing time under Mikel Arteta this campaign, making only three Premier League appearances behind Kai Havertz.
Smith stated that Gyokeres would likely want to leave if dropped further down the pecking order. Additionally, Smith shared his view that clubs like Arsenal would feel aggrieved following an independent commission finding Manchester City guilty of Premier League financial rule breaches, an outcome City has appealed.
