The New Jersey Devils defeated the Vancouver Canucks 4-1, powered by milestone performances and strong special teams play. After Linus Karlsson opened the scoring for Vancouver, New Jersey responded with four unanswered goals. Nico Hischier scored twice, reaching his 200th and 201st career NHL goals, while Jesper Boqvist and Jesper Bratt also found the net to secure the victory.
Goaltender Jake Allen earned the win while making his 500th career NHL appearance, limiting Vancouver to a single goal. Rookie Amadeus Lombardi registered his first career NHL point by assisting on Boqvist's game-winning goal. The Devils finished three-for-four on the power play and successfully defended a four-minute double minor assessed to Evan Rodrigues late in the second period.
