Dick faces Raptors for first time since trade

Gradey Dick played against his former team for the first time since being traded, appearing for the Los Angeles Clippers in a 114-106 preseason loss to the Toronto Raptors on Saturday in Vancouver. Dick scored four points in 13 minutes of action. He described facing the Raptors as bittersweet after spending his first three NBA seasons in Toronto following his selection in the 2023 draft.

Dick was sent to Los Angeles alongside Brandon Ingram and multiple draft picks in exchange for Kawhi Leonard. Clippers head coach Tyronn Lue noted that the team wants Dick to improve his three-point shooting consistency, while Raptors head coach Darko Rajakovic praised the young forward's talent and potential.
