Gary Neville believes the Manchester United midfield pairing of Youri Tielemans and Kobbie Mainoo needs to be changed. He said that they cannot play together, despite being good players individually.

Gary Neville stated on his podcast that Manchester United midfielders Youri Tielemans and Kobbie Mainoo cannot start together following their 1-1 Premier League draw against Tottenham Hotspur at Old Trafford. Neville argued that despite their individual quality, the midfield pairing needs to be changed after being overrun by Tottenham's midfield.
Manchester United took the lead in the 73rd minute through Bryan Mbeumo before Tottenham's Rodrigo Bentancur was sent off. However, Dominic Solanke scored a stoppage-time equalizer to leave Michael Carrick's side with just six points from their opening six league games.
