The Minnesota Vikings have elevated veteran wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. from the practice squad ahead of Sunday's game against the New Orleans Saints. Beckham joined Minnesota's practice squad on Wednesday and is prepared to make his team debut. Head coach Kevin O'Connell noted that Beckham's active status will depend on whether starting wide receivers Justin Jefferson and Jordan Addison can play, as both are questionable with injuries.
The 33-year-old receiver was recently released by the New York Giants after going without a catch across three games to start the season. Beckham previously missed all of the prior season while serving a performance-enhancing drug suspension and totaled just nine receptions during the 2024 campaign with the Miami Dolphins.
