How Daniel Klein’s HAIRDRESSER helped him win Aberdeen deal as bizarre Marius Muller connection pays off

Goalkeeper Daniel Klein revealed that a connection through his hairdresser led to his transfer to Scottish Premiership side Aberdeen. Klein met fellow German goalkeeper Marius Muller through his hairdresser, who is dating Muller's sister, during a summer kick-about. After realizing they shared an agent, Muller recommended Klein to Aberdeen, where the former Augsburg shot-stopper subsequently secured a contract following a trial at Cormack Park under manager Stephen Robinson.

Aberdeen sporting director Lutz Pfannenstiel also played a key role in the move, having previously remembered Klein from his youth days at Hoffenheim. Klein, who recently made his first appearance in 18 months during a friendly against Dunfermline Athletic, credited Muller with helping him settle in Scotland while aiming to compete for the starting role.
