Titans 2027 NFL mock draft: Cam Ward gets the support he needs

Titan Sized writer Michael Haney projected a seven-round 2027 NFL mock draft for the Tennessee Titans, focusing on surrounding quarterback Cam Ward with talent. Starting at 0-4, the Titans are projected to hold high draft picks. The mock draft selects Texas edge rusher Colin Simmons in the first round, noting his 7.5 sacks on the season, before turning to Iowa offensive tackle Trevor Lauck in the second round to secure pass protection.

The writer also argues Tennessee should bolster its offense by drafting Texas running back Hollywood Smothers in the third round and Miami wide receiver Cooper Barkate in the fifth. Defensive depth rounds out the selections with Notre Dame cornerback DJ McKinney, Houston offensive guard Shadre Hurst, and Indiana cornerback A.J. Harris.
