Cowdenbeath issue Green Brigade ‘challenge’ ahead of Celtic B clash

Cowdenbeath have issued an invitation and light-hearted challenge to Celtic's Green Brigade supporter group ahead of next Tuesday's KDM Evolution Trophy match against Celtic B at Central Park Stadium. The Fife club proposed a noise battle between the Green Brigade and their own ultra group, the Blue Brazilians, celebrating the vibrant atmosphere generated during their previous 2-1 victory over the young Celts.

During their ban from Celtic Park last season, the Green Brigade attended lower-league fixtures, bringing drums, banners, and flares to Cowdenbeath and Albion Rovers. The upcoming fixture takes place two days before Celtic's Europa League tie against Benfica in Lisbon, which may impact supporter attendance.
