Former Manchester United defender Patrice Evra has announced the death of his mother, paying an emotional tribute on social media. The 45-year-old fought back tears while singing Sexion D'Assaut's song 'Avant qu'elle parte' and described his mother, who had been battling Alzheimer's, as his rock.
In his message, Evra urged his followers to cherish and express love for their mothers every day. He also previously dedicated his online videos to his mother, who had lost a leg while hospitalized in 2010.
