The Los Angeles Lakers could really use Goga Bitadze on their roster, but he reportedly insulted Luka Doncic's family during an on-court scuffle.
Lake Show Life examines whether the Los Angeles Lakers could pursue Orlando Magic center Goga Bitadze via trade to address their frontcourt depth. Lakers analyst Trevor Lane noted Bitadze's strong fit on the court, but highlighted that a past on-court confrontation with Luka Doncic could complicate any potential move.
According to the report, Bitadze and Doncic engaged in an altercation last March where Bitadze reportedly insulted Doncic's family. Writer Colin Keane argues that while Bitadze provides valuable rim protection and screen setting behind Walker Kessler and Kevon Looney, the Lakers would need to consider Doncic's feelings before making a deal.
