Brandin Podziemski and the Golden State Warriors have agreed to a five-year rookie contract extension worth $110 million, according to ESPN's Shams Charania. The guard played all 82 games during the 2025-26 season, starting in 43 of them, and has averaged 11.6 points, 5.3 rebounds, and 3.7 assists since entering the league in 2023.
The extension begins at $18.9 million in its first year, closely mirroring his projected $17 million cap hold, per ESPN's Bobby Marks. Writer JoshFisher notes the deal will have minimal impact on the team's upcoming free agency cap space as expensive veteran contracts expire.
