Virgil van Dijk has confessed he will break his silence on Manchester City's guilty verdict once the appeal is done and dusted having lost out to them numerous times in his Liverpool career

Liverpool defender Virgil van Dijk stated he will definitely comment on Manchester City's financial breaches verdict once their appeal process is properly settled. Manchester City was recently found guilty of breaching 114 financial rules by an independent commission, a decision the club has appealed while facing potential punishments including title stripping or relegation.
Van Dijk noted that while he enjoyed the on-pitch rivalry, off-pitch matters are entirely different. His comments followed Manchester City's 3-0 victory against 10-man Liverpool at Anfield, where home supporters displayed banners protesting City's actions.
