The Ottawa Senators have recalled defenseman Jorian Donovan from the AHL and placed defenseman Cameron Crotty on injured reserve. Crotty's placement on injured reserve is retroactive to his last game on October 6, having missed Ottawa's last two contests due to an illness. He is ruled out for Monday's matchup against the New Jersey Devils but remains eligible to return Tuesday against the St. Louis Blues.
Crotty originally entered the lineup to cover for Artem Zub, who remains sidelined following an injury suffered in the 2026 Stanley Cup Playoffs. Ottawa utilized Hoyt Stanley on the third defensive pairing during Crotty's absence. The 22-year-old Donovan, who posted 21 points in 61 AHL games last season and appeared in two NHL games, provides additional blue-line depth.
