It looks like the Packers may be down a body on their defensive front as Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports that defensive tackle Javon Hargrave “is believed to have torn his Achilles” tendon.
Green Bay Packers defensive tackle Javon Hargrave is believed to have suffered a torn Achilles tendon, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Head coach Matt LaFleur confirmed the suspected injury after Hargrave was carted off the field during Sunday's game. If confirmed, the severe injury is expected to end the 33-year-old veteran's 2026 campaign.
Hargrave joined Green Bay after being released by the Vikings, providing depth following earlier defensive line departures. Without him, the Packers will lean on Devonte Wyatt, Karl Brooks, Chris McClellan, and Jonathan Ford. Facing ongoing run defense struggles, the franchise may explore trade market options to reinforce their front line.
