Blues started fast again to dismantle Bournemouth on Premier League return

Chelsea forward Morgan Rogers has credited manager Xabi Alonso's team talks for the team's recurring habit of scoring early goals this season. Chelsea established a 2-0 lead within the first three minutes of Saturday's 5-1 Premier League victory over Bournemouth, adding a third goal just 29 seconds after half-time. Although Alonso downplayed his personal role in the fast starts, Rogers insisted the manager's pre-match and interval speeches fire up the squad.
The Bournemouth victory continues a strong pattern under Alonso this campaign. Chelsea also netted early goals against Fulham, Brighton, Hull, and defending champions Arsenal, with Rogers scoring in the latter two fixtures. Rogers, who joined the club in a £117 million summer transfer, emphasized that securing early leads has become a crucial winning habit, particularly during home fixtures.
