The DP World Tour will not allow LIV Golf players to compete at its events in the 2027 season.

The DP World Tour has announced that golfers who join LIV Golf next season will be barred from membership for the 2027 season. Tour CEO Guy Kinnings stated that players must make a choice and adhere to tour regulations to protect the circuit. Because European Ryder Cup eligibility requires DP World Tour membership, the decision carries major implications for several prominent international golfers facing strict upcoming tour registration deadlines.
Unlike past seasons where conditional releases were granted to players such as Jon Rahm and Tyrrell Hatton, future applicants must disclose their tour commitments. Failure to report participation in LIV Golf will lead to termination of membership. The shift comes as LIV attempts court-supervised Chapter 11 restructuring and offers equity to players, which European Tour officials view as incompatible with their member-run organization.
