New signing Luan Giliomee has been selected in the Bulls' 42-man squad for the Investec Champions Cup. The 20-year-old utility back, capable of playing at flyhalf and fullback, joins a roster that features 14 Springboks and cannot be altered until March. The Bulls begin their European campaign on Saturday against Stade Français at Loftus Versfeld.
Giliomee will compete with Handré Pollard and Curwin Bosch for the starting flyhalf role, or provide cover alongside Willie le Roux at fullback. The squad also features key returns, including scrumhalf Keagan Johannes moving back to his primary position and hooker Akker van der Merwe recovering from a calf injury.
