Philadelphia Eagles safety Michael Carter suffered an abdomen injury on Sunday just before halftime after tackling Bhayshul Tuten. Carter had recorded six tackles before coming off the field, and he was officially ruled out of the contest halfway through the third quarter.
Following Carter's departure, defensive coordinator Vic Fangio deployed defensive back Kenny Moore at safety despite prior hesitation. The Eagles continue to face depth issues at safety, with Marcus Epps already sidelined by injury and Jeremiah Trotter Jr. having been ejected earlier in the game.
