The Eagles don't have the skill to outlast anymore, and now luck is catching up to them, too.
Nick Tricome of PhillyVoice argues that the Philadelphia Eagles cannot sustain success following a 19-17 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars in London. Despite brief moments of offensive rhythm, including touchdowns from Will Shipley and Darius Cooper, the Eagles suffered their third straight defeat after Jacksonville hit a walk-off field goal. The author asserts that recent roster upheaval has caught up with the franchise.
The Eagles played with a makeshift offensive line featuring Willie Lampkin, Jake Majors, and Markel Bell following Lane Johnson's retirement and Cam Jurgens being traded to the Baltimore Ravens. Tricome writes that while the young linemen showed flashes of promise, Philadelphia's second-half offensive collapse reflects a long-term shift toward rebuilding rather than contending this season.
