Liam Scales reveals Celtic’s inspiration as they head to Lisbon for Benfica test

Celtic defender Liam Scales stated that the team will draw inspiration from their 3-1 away win against Feyenoord last season ahead of Thursday's Europa League match against Benfica in Lisbon. Celtic face a challenging fixture following earlier European defeats to LASK and Ferencvaros, while Benfica recently defeated Scottish side Hearts 6-1.

Scales noted that Celtic enter the clash with renewed confidence following a 2-0 domestic victory over Motherwell on Sunday, which ended a difficult spell before the international break. He also praised 23-year-old center-back partner Dane Murray, who impressed alongside him while Cameron Carter-Vickers and Auston Trusty dealt with injury and illness.
