Viddal Riley will now top MF Pro’s November 14 card in London’s OVO Arena against France’s Seydi Coupe. Riley will be making the first defense of his European cruiserweight title against his mandatory challenger in Coupe, 14-0 (9 KOS).
Viddal Riley is set to defend his EBU European cruiserweight title against mandatory challenger Seydi Coupe on November 14. The championship bout will serve as the headline event of a Saturday Fight Night card broadcast live exclusively on DAZN. Riley, holding 14 victories and three professional titles, aims to stay active rather than waiting for a direct world title opportunity.
Promoter Kalle Sauerland noted that Riley chose to stay busy after a victory over Mateusz Masternak instead of waiting for his mandatory IBF world title shot. Coupe enters the contest undefeated, while Riley looks to protect his position as an IBF mandatory challenger and a top-ranked contender across multiple major governing bodies.
