Martin is under huge pressure at the King Power Stadium

Leicester City figures are reportedly considering sacking manager Russell Martin following a poor start in League One. The Foxes sit 17th in the table, just one point above the relegation zone, having failed to win six of their first eight league matches after a home defeat to Peterborough United. Ben Jacobs reported that the club is actively succession planning, with internal figures pushing for an immediate managerial change ahead of their upcoming fixture against Doncaster Rovers.
Martin only took charge at the King Power Stadium in June after replacing Gary Rowett, but fan frustration has mounted rapidly. If the club decides to dismiss Martin, potential replacements have already emerged. Jacobs noted that Neil Lennon would reportedly be interested in taking over the managerial role, while Rob Edwards is also appreciated by the Leicester board.
