The Sabres ruled out captain Rasmus Dahlin for the remainder of Monday's game against the Panthers after he suffered an upper-body injury in the second period.

Buffalo Sabres captain Rasmus Dahlin suffered an upper-body injury during Monday's game against the Florida Panthers and was ruled out from returning. Dahlin left the ice early in the second period after taking a shot from the slot during a power play. Prior to his departure, Dahlin scored his second goal of the season in the first period.
Meanwhile, Panthers starting goaltender Jacob Markstrom also left the contest, failing to return for the second period after allowing two goals on nine shots. Florida replaced Markstrom with Akira Schmid, and the team provided no immediate update on the veteran goaltender's condition.
