Aaron Wiggins flashing all-around impact in Hawks’ preseason action

Aaron Wiggins has impressed with his all-around offensive impact through the Atlanta Hawks' first three preseason games. Head Coach Quin Snyder has utilized the former Oklahoma City Thunder guard's shooting, ball-handling, and playmaking across varied roles in the team's fast-paced offense. Michael Kobrinsky of Soaring Down South reports that Wiggins is demonstrating strong two-way versatility, highlighted by scoring, distributing in the pick-and-roll, and contributing defensively.

Wiggins is shooting 46.2 percent from three-point range across the preseason, which included a 10-point outing in eight minutes against the Indiana Pacers on October 10. He also recorded 10 points, four assists, two blocks, and a steal against the San Antonio Spurs, where he started in place of Jalen Johnson. Kobrinsky notes that Snyder's early rotation patterns strongly indicate Wiggins will hold an expanded role for Atlanta during the 2026-27 NBA season.
