Rangers seem to have a settled XI under McInnes and one star has struggled to push into that lineup.
Algerian media have expressed growing concern regarding Badredine Bouanani's limited playing time at Rangers following his summer loan move from VfB Stuttgart. DZFoot reporter Mahdi Zakaria highlighted that the 21-year-old winger has been relegated to a secondary role under manager Derek McInnes, managing just under 100 minutes across four appearances with only a single start.
The lack of first-team minutes mirrors Bouanani's recent difficulties in the Bundesliga and has impacted his international standing. Stuttgart intended the loan spell to foster his development, but Bouanani was subsequently left out of the Algeria national squad by manager Brahim Hemdani for his inaugural training camp.
