The Vegas Golden Knights saw their four-game winning streak snapped in a 4-2 defeat against the Minnesota Wild on Monday at Grand Casino Arena. Minnesota seized control late in the first period with three goals in just over five minutes from Matt Boldy, Maxim Shabanov, and Danila Yurov.
Vegas mounted a comeback effort with goals from Rasmus Andersson and William Karlsson to cut the deficit to 3-2. However, Minnesota goaltender Jesper Wallstedt held firm before Joel Eriksson Ek secured the victory with a late empty-net goal.
