“That S—T Sounds Rehearsed”: Jake Paul Under Fire for His Speech at Donald Trump’s Ohio Rally

YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul faced widespread online backlash after speaking alongside President Donald Trump at a political rally at the Covelli Centre in Youngstown, Ohio. Paul appeared on stage with his mother to support midterm election candidates, delivering a speech where he criticized left-wing protesters, called his mother a blue-collar worker, and urged the crowd to protect the state of Ohio.

Social media critics quickly condemned Paul's appearance, labeling the address rehearsed and highlighting perceived hypocrisy regarding his wealth and past move to Puerto Rico for tax benefits. The backlash also reignited scrutiny over Paul's boxing career following his knockout defeat to Anthony Joshua in December, with observers criticizing his competitive resume as he targets an early 2027 comeback.
