Sky Sports pundit impressed as Chelsea unleash new boy who ‘looks a real player’

Sky Sports pundit Paul Merson praised new Chelsea signing Chavarria following his impressive display against Bournemouth. The 28-year-old provided an assist from the left wing for Joao Pedro to score Chelsea's fourth goal of the match. Speaking on Soccer Saturday, Merson hailed the delivery as an unbelievable ball and highlighted Chavarria as an exciting addition who looks like a real player.

Xabi Alonso's Chelsea side secured a dominant victory, racing into a two-goal lead within three minutes through Jordan Henderson and Morgan Rogers. Despite Bournemouth pulling a goal back from a corner after Chelsea went 3-0 up, further goals from Pedro and Henderson secured the win and ended Chelsea's previous three-match winless streak.
