OKC Thunder center Aday Mara can't stop showcasing his skills this preseason and is giving every indication that he was worthy of a lottery selection.

Oklahoma City Thunder center Aday Mara has impressed through his first three preseason games, demonstrating a diverse skill set on both ends of the floor. After a quiet Summer League, the 7-foot-3 rookie scored 12 points in his debut, led the team with 22 points against the Milwaukee Bucks, and recorded 10 rebounds alongside six assists against the Atlanta Hawks.
Writer Zane Gelphman argues that Mara is proving to be much more than a one-dimensional defensive specialist drafted to counter Victor Wembanyama. Gelphman notes that despite previous conditioning concerns, Mara's offensive prowess and strong preseason play could see him earn increased regular-season minutes behind starter Isaiah Hartenstein.
