The offense for the Tennessee Titans is looking extremely awful, and Carnell Tate's performance in Week 5 is just another example of it.

Writer Brandon Ray argues that rookie receiver Carnell Tate's minimal production in Week 5 highlights systemic issues within the Tennessee Titans' offense. Following a nine-catch breakout performance against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 4, Tate recorded just one reception for 6 yards on five targets during a loss to the Houston Texans.
Ray notes the Titans dropped to 0-5 under offensive coordinator Brian Daboll, gaining only 187 total offensive yards against Houston. While Ray views Tate as largely a victim of wider offensive struggles alongside quarterback Cam Ward, he argues the rookie has yet to provide the consistent spark Tennessee anticipated.
