Two men aged 58 and 42 have been arrested by Catalan police in connection with a burglary at the home of FC Barcelona goalkeeper Joan Garcia. According to Mundo Deportivo, the break-in occurred on January 10 while Garcia was in Saudi Arabia for the Spanish Super Cup. An alarm alerted the Mossos d'Esquadra after individuals entered the property in the Baix Llobregat region.
Investigators revealed the suspects had also monitored the home of teammate Jules Koundé to prepare a potential burglary, though no break-in occurred. One of the suspects, identified as Arsim Blaku, is considered a key instigator in a luxury residential burglary ring. Both men have been placed in pre-trial detention, while a female suspect was released after appearing before a judge.
