Bayern Munich sporting director Christoph Freund insists that there is no rush over the contract talks with Michael Olise.

Bayern Munich sporting director Christoph Freund stated the club is under no time pressure regarding a new contract for Michael Olise. Speaking to Sky Sports in Germany, Freund emphasized that the French winger remains under contract until 2029 and feels extremely comfortable in Munich. Bayern reportedly intends to focus on Olise after finalizing a new deal for striker Harry Kane.
Olise has delivered exceptional form since arriving from Crystal Palace in 2024, scoring eight goals in seven games early in the season. Writer Kiran Thakare argues that Bayern must remain proactive and secure Olise's long-term future sooner rather than later to fend off interest from elite European rivals like Real Madrid.
