Former Castleford Tigers prop Joe Stimson has officially signed with Australian side Temora Dragons following his release from the Super League club. The 30-year-old forward returns to his home country to rejoin his junior club in the New South Wales Group 9 competition, despite reported interest from Super League teams such as Leigh Leopards.
Stimson departed Castleford after making 39 appearances without receiving a contract extension, making him one of several players to exit the club alongside Daejarn Asi, Sam Hall, and Cain Robb. Before his move to England, Stimson accumulated extensive NRL experience during spells with Melbourne Storm, Canterbury Bulldogs, and Gold Coast Titans.
