Former world champions Paulie Malignaggi and Victor Ortiz are scheduled to face each other in a bare-knuckle boxing match on December 5. Both veterans previously enjoyed successful gloved careers at the elite level and have since transitioned to competing in bare-knuckle contests.
The 45-year-old Malignaggi holds a 1-2 record in bare-knuckle fighting following a May knockout loss to Rolando Dy. Ortiz, 39, made a successful debut in bare-knuckle boxing in July by securing a five-round unanimous decision victory over Dominic Salcido.
