Mexican boxing icon Erik Morales shared his prediction for a prime-versus-prime fantasy matchup between Julio Cesar Chavez and Roberto Duran. Speaking to Luis Parra, Morales stated that Chavez would defeat Duran if the bout took place at super-lightweight (140 pounds), describing prime Chavez at that weight as virtually unbeatable.
However, Morales noted that the outcome could change at lightweight (135 pounds), where Duran was exceptionally solid and tough. Both hall-of-fame legends recorded more than 100 professional victories during their respective careers.
