Former NFL team doctor David Chao stated that New England Patriots running back TreVeyon Henderson's high-ankle sprain should not be as severe as wide receiver A.J. Brown's. Henderson suffered the injury during New England's 45-17 win against the Las Vegas Raiders on October 11. ESPN's Adam Schefter reported Henderson is expected to miss multiple weeks, although he will not require surgery.
With Henderson sidelined, the Patriots will lean on Rhamondre Stevenson and Corey Kiner in the backfield. Meanwhile, Brown has missed four consecutive games due to his high-ankle sprain but could return to practice this week, according to head coach Mike Vrabel.
