Shakhtar Donetsk are hopeful an amicable agreement can be struck with Tottenham
Shakhtar Donetsk is set to reopen negotiations with Tottenham Hotspur to seek a compensation package following winger Manor Solomon's transfer to West Ham. Chief executive Sergei Palkin revealed that the Ukrainian club plans to approach Spurs officially after Solomon completed a permanent move for an initial £5m fee.
Solomon originally joined Tottenham on a free transfer in July 2023 under a FIFA ruling that suspended contracts following the invasion of Ukraine. Palkin stated both clubs previously had a verbal agreement to share future sale proceeds, warning Shakhtar may involve intermediaries or the Court of Arbitration for Sport if an amicable deal cannot be reached.
