Streaming giant Netflix has reached an agreement with FIFA to acquire exclusive broadcasting rights for the 2030 World Cup in Spain and Andorra. The platform is set to stream all 104 matches of the tournament, representing Netflix's first major live international men's football broadcasting deal in Spain. The agreement marks a significant expansion into live sports coverage for the digital streaming company.
The 2030 World Cup will be co-hosted by Spain, Portugal, and Morocco. While Netflix holds the primary distribution rights for the territory, select fixtures, including matches involving the Spanish national team, are expected to be made available on free-to-air television, though specific terrestrial broadcast partners have not yet been announced.
