Liverpool and Chelsea have been handed a transfer boost as Bournemouth are open to selling Alex Scott in the January transfer window.

Bournemouth are reportedly open to selling midfielder Alex Scott during the January transfer window, giving a transfer boost to Liverpool and Chelsea. According to a report by BBC Sport, the Cherries are willing to sanction a permanent departure if an offer in the region of £100 million is submitted. Chelsea previously had a reported £60 million bid rejected in the summer, but both clubs remain actively interested in the 23-year-old England international.
Scott has reportedly pushed for a move after declining two contract renewal offers at the Vitality Stadium, where his current contract runs until 2028. Any potential mid-season sale could still be influenced by Bournemouth's Premier League position, as the club may choose to retain him if they are threatened with relegation. Scott is currently sidelined with a thigh injury suffered during England's Nations League victory over Croatia.
