Lazio stay top of the Serie A table with Inter, but made life more difficult…
Lazio secured a 3-1 victory over 10-man Monza at the Stadio Olimpico to remain level with Inter at the top of the Serie A table. Nuno Tavares opened the scoring inside three minutes with a long-range strike, and Gustav Isaksen doubled the lead in the 23rd minute. Monza's Lorenzo Lucchesi received a straight red card in the 35th minute for bringing down Tijjani Noslin.
Despite being down to ten players, Monza narrowed the deficit right after halftime through Saba Goglichidze's header and threatened an equalizer. However, Lazio held off the pressure, and substitute Andrea Pinamonti sealed the win in the 88th minute from an Alfonso Pedraza pull-back to confirm all three points.
