The Tennessee Titans have a veteran edge rusher who doesn't fit the long-term picture. Could a deal with Tampa Bay help both sides?

A to Z Sports writer Ryan Roberts proposes a mock trade sending 30-year-old edge rusher Jacob Martin and a 2027 sixth-round draft pick from the Tennessee Titans to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. In return, Roberts suggests the Buccaneers send a 2027 fourth-round draft pick to Tennessee. Roberts argues the move makes sense for Tampa Bay head coach Todd Bowles' defense and gives Tennessee valuable draft capital.
According to Roberts, trading Martin would allow the Titans to evaluate younger defensive linemen Femi Oladejo and Keldric Faulk. Roberts suggests Oladejo could handle early-down run defense, while Faulk could receive expanded third-down pass-rushing opportunities under head coach Robert Saleh.
