Mika Baur sets the record straight about Callum McGregor after Celtic’s win vs Motherwell

Celtic midfielder Mika Baur praised captain Callum McGregor following the club's victory over Motherwell at Fir Park. Addressing recent criticism of the midfield, Baur stated that he felt completely comfortable and enjoyed playing alongside McGregor both before and after the international break. The win ended a three-match losing run and returned Martin O'Neill's side to the top of the Scottish Premiership table.

Writer Amir Mir notes that McGregor earned an 8.2 match rating from Sofascore after completing 90 minutes and covering 12.5 kilometers. However, Mir argues that Celtic must manage the 33-year-old captain's playing time carefully, suggesting he may need to be rested or rotated to the bench in future fixtures.
