The United States Women's National Team rallied from a two-goal deficit to earn a 2-2 draw against Spain. Alexia Putellas opened the scoring for Spain before Salma Paralluelo capitalized on a mistake by goalkeeper Phallon Tullis-Joyce to make it 2-0. Ashley Sanchez pulled a goal back for the Americans early in the second half, and substitute Mallory Swanson netted the equalizer on a late half-volley.
Manager Emma Hayes rotated her lineup following a previous 2-0 defeat to Spain, introducing several substitutes in the second half, including debutants Kate del Fava and Pietra Tordin. Del Fava helped set up Swanson's tying goal, and late chances from Lily Yohannes nearly earned the USWNT a victory as they pushed relentlessly in the final minutes.
