Filip Chytil re-joined the Canucks during their morning skate ahead of a matchup against the New York Islanders.

Vancouver Canucks forward Filip Chytil has resumed skating, participating as an extra during Tuesday's morning skate ahead of the team's matchup against the New York Islanders. Head Coach Manny Malhotra confirmed that Chytil is progressing nicely from a lower-body injury, noting that the plan is to integrate him into multiple team practices before clearing him to play in games.
Chytil suffered the injury during a pre-season contest after colliding with a referee, which resulted in him being placed on injured reserve to begin the regular season. While he is not yet cleared for game action, Malhotra emphasized that having Chytil back around the roster provides an energetic boost for the team.
